Reasons and steps for lubricating oil replacement of outboard motor

According to outboard motor manufacturers, outboard motors are very common engines for fishing boats or yachts. In the process of daily use, the engine lubricating oil needs to be replaced within a certain maintenance period. So, why should it be replaced regularly? Woolen cloth?
The biggest function of engine lubricating oil is to reduce the friction between the moving parts of the engine and ensure the flexible operation of the engine, that is, lubrication. In fact, in addition to lubricating, engine oil also has cleaning, cooling, anti-rust, sealing, anti-oxidation, buffering and other functions. Engine lubricating oil keeps the engine in good working condition through this series of functions. When replacing, the main steps are:
1. Open the oil drain piston at the bottom of the outboard motor. In order to leak oil better and faster, open the oil injection hole at the same time to enhance ventilation. It took nearly an hour to drain the waste engine oil inside.
2. After the waste engine oil has leaked out, seal the oil leak well, then open the top fuel tank cover of the main engine, and carefully inject the engine oil and lubricating oil into the fuel tank. When refueling, pay attention to the scale line on the fuel tank. Too full, do not exceed the yellow warning line.
3. After the machine has been running for a period of time, about a few hours, check the oil capacity of the oil tank, because there may be air in the newly added engine oil, so after a period of operation, the air will basically be eliminated and should decrease, so It is normal to increase the engine oil appropriately.
